CHOCOLATE CAKE

INGREDIENTS

Cake:

1/4 cup cacao powder⁠

1/2 cup coconut sugar ⁠

1/4 cup buckwheat flour⁠

1 cup brown rice flour⁠

1/4 cup tapioca flour⁠

1 tsp gluten-free baking powder⁠

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda ⁠

1/2 tsp sea salt ⁠

1/2 cup grass-fed butter⁠

1 tbsp raw honey⁠

1 cup of almond milk

Icing:

1 cup coconut sugar (milled into a fine powder)⁠

1 cup coconut cream⁠

1/4 cup cacao powder⁠

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  2. Mix the cake ingredients, then pour into a prepared baking tin
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Mix the icing ingredients together until smooth
  5. Once the cake is cool, decorate with the chocolate icing
