INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup of raw cashews, soaked overnight
1/3 cup coconut butter
1/4 cup coconut cream⠀
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup of cacao powder⠀
10 Medjool dates, soaked in hot water.⠀
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup of chopped cashews
2 bars of 80% raw dark chocolate, melted⠀
METHOD
- Blend together the soaked cashews, coconut butter, coconut cream, maple syrup and cacao powder in a high-speed blender then pour into a baking tray deep enough to cut into chunky chocolate bars.⠀
- Place in the freezer for about half an hour then remove and cut bars into your size of choice.⠀
- Place back in the tray and drizzle over the melted dark chocolate. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts and sea salt and freeze once again until hard.
- Store in the fridge once they are ready and enjoy a grain and dairy free treat.⠀
