A Philosophy of Enjoying Food and Enhancing the Experience of Cooking
Ondine was founded by Marie Ondine Guerlain. As well as being Marie’s second name, it serendipitously reads as ‘we dine’ in French. Its collection of cookware was designed with an instinct for elegance and a flair for the subtleties of timeless design, inspired by Marie's heritage of artistry and refinement. More than just a cookware brand, Ondine champions a philosophy of enjoying food and enhancing the experience of cooking. This extends to a deep understanding and respect of nutrition and a commitment to innovation.
High Grade Titanium Stainless Steel
Ondine’s signature is the use of the highest grade 316ti titanium stainless steel, the very best cookware material available. Each piece is hand-crafted and hand-assembled by skilled artisans from the Italian house of Serafino Zani, who have been fashioning fine cookware since 1963. Marie worked with top craftsmen for five years to create the range, with every detail carefully conceived as an expression of her philosophy: products that define function, durability and exceptional aesthetic quality.
Cooking for my family and friends is my passion. Memorable meals use outstanding ingredients, but that purity must be complimented with cookware unsurpassed in quality and so beautiful that you’d want to show it off on any table.Marie Ondine Guerlain, founder
Ergonomically Designed & Balanced
Each piece of Ondine cookware has been ergonomically designed and balanced, then constructed from three melded alloys to give unfluctuating heat conduction regardless of if you are cooking on gas, electric or by induction. Finally, each cooking surface is finished with the highest grade 316ti titanium stainless steel to give every cook the purest culinary experience. The handles are individually cast in brass, with a hand-polished and high-gloss finish.
A Lifetime’s Experience
As with any piece of true luxury, Ondine cookware was created not just to be used, but to be treasured, to become part of a lifetime’s experience of sharing food with friends and family. Marie’s memories of cooking alongside her mother as a child are at the core of the Ondine philosophy, with the kitchen as the heart of their home. Born from this love for food and family, each Ondine design has been considered for experience from oven to table, crafted to be used and used again over a lifetime, and passed down to the next generation.
